ABOUT THE POETS:

ALYSSA MOORE is the author of WET MEDIA (Tilted House, 2024). She is a Queer Black intermedia poet and artist, spinning surreal fables and myths and misusing tools of productivity for lyricism and pleasure. She is an editor for Ghost Proposal, a journal for poetry and work outside of traditional notions of genre. She holds degrees from Harvard and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and was the inaugural winner of Poetry Magazine’s Prize for Visual Poetry. Her work can be found in Hyperallergic, Poetry, Boston Review, Yale Review, Futurepoem’s future-feed and elsewhere.

C. RUSSELL PRICE is a Lambda Fellow, Ragdale Fellow, Windy City Times 30 Under 30 Honoree, and a 2 time Lit City Top 50 Writers of Chicago Honoree. They are the author of Tonight, We Fuck the Trailer Park Out of Each Other and Oh, You Thought This Was A Date?!: Apocalypse Poems. They are a poet in residence with the Chicago Poetry Center, a core faculty member for Story Studio and an editor with The Anarchist Review of Books. They’re writing about a ghost cowboy and his ghost blue horse these days. Less honk, more tonk. Here comes Bisquick.

MARTY MCCONNELL is a poet, educator, and healer based in Chicago. She is the author of the poetry collections “when they say you can’t go home again, what they mean is you were never there” and “wine for a shotgun” as well as “Gathering Voices: Creating a Community-Based Poetry Workshop.” She is the co-creator/co-editor of underbelly, a web site focused on the art and magic of revision, and the curator of the Chicago Poetry Center’s monthly Blue Hour workshop and reading series.

NOA MICAELA FIELDS is an echodeviant* in search of transversal wildness in her one and only captionless life. She is the author of E, forthcoming from Nightboat Books in 2025. You can find her other poems and art writing in Tripwire, Anomaly, Poetry Foundation’s Poem of the Day, Zoeglossia, Elderly, Tyger Quarterly, Emergency Index, Ghost City Review, and Sixty Inches From Center.
