Olivia Block is a media artist, composer and performer. Over the span of nearly thirty years, she has been a pioneering force in the international experimental music scene. She creates music for electronic instruments, chamber instruments, piano, organ and amplified objects. Block’s new solo release contains a series of songs for her voice, piano and ensemble. Her albums have been published on Another Timbre, Erstwhile, Glistening Examples, NNA Tapes, Room40, Sedimental, Touch and Black Truffle among other labels. She performs internationally in festivals and tours. Block is based in Chicago, and travels widely for her work.
Bill Harris is a percussionist, improviser, and audio engineer in Chicago. He also operates and produces for Amalgam, a Chicago-based label and collective, and co-operates Chicago recording studio Marmalade.
