Awakenings is proud to partner with Everybody’s Coffee to present ‘Threads of Survival.’ This compelling exhibit showcases the transformative power of art as survivors channel their experiences into expressions of resilience and strength. Come see the walls of Everybody’s Coffee become a platform for survivor narratives told through vibrant paintings, sculptures, and multimedia installations.
‘Threads of Survival’ invites you to witness the survivors’ stories embodied in each piece, fostering community dialogue and a deeper understanding of the impact of sexual violence. Add your own thread to the conversation by reading artist statements and engaging with the interactive exhibit pieces.
Artwork is on display March 1 through May 1. Join us Friday, March 22, 6pm – 8pm, for the ‘Threads of Survival’ reception with an artist walkthrough at 6:30pm.
