Binary, 2 bodies of work
1. An installation of Evil Eye-themed paintings

1. Evil Eye Paintings (18)
I love playing with powerful iconography. I start-
ed using the Evil Eye symbol in some larger, more
complicated paintings after coming home from
a trip to Greece.
It started with a blank 22″x22″ stretched linen. I had
an idea for creating a very simple, graphic, pseudo-
spiritual painting: an evil eye peeking through a hole
which would also define a crescent moon shape.
This became a theme in the series.
I layered different colors of pigmented ges-
so. I played around with sanding into them and
over-painting and sanding again at various times,
over and over, and found unexpected subtlety.
2. A Selection of various other works
Chosen by Soccer Club Club. Some slightly older
and some much older.
