∆ V.Vecker (b. Keith Wecker, 1983) is a composer, improvisor and multi- instrumentalist exploring sound through organized systems and technology. His instrumental approach is centred around the act of live looping and the sonic interplay that is created by layering of sound on top of sound.
Beginning in the mid 2000s, Keith has been a longstanding figure in the Vancouver experimental scene, performing and improvising with numerous acts and artists. In addition to being an active performer and improvisor he was an active visual arts curator, booker and promoter.
His unique sound is highlighted by the diversity of the acts he has shared the stage with (Tim Hecker, Clark, Sumac, Thundercat, Wolf Eyes, Six Organs of Admittance, Goblin, Lori Goldston and Sun Araw) as well as participating in projects of Anthony Braxton and Glenn Branca. Keith has been featured prominently and repeatedly at multiple Vancouver based festivals such as the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, New Forms Festival and Music Waste.
V.Vecker currently is based in Warrensburg, Missouri where he is currently completing his MA in Music Technology.
