Tin Collage Making Workshop led by Kee Merriweather

This workshop is in conjunction with the exhibition of House of Yemanja.
House of Yemanja is a curatorial activation by Homagetoblkmadonnas. Homagetoblkmadonnas is an archival practice that mines and collects images, printed matter, and literature of Black mothers, femmes, and women as a source of the spirit of inquiry and hopefully one-day repatriation. This archive is dedicated to the founder’s late grandmother Mae Merriweather who passed away in 2020.
Attendees will be invited to view the exhibition and encouraged to make their own tin collages in response to the House of Yemanja. Materials will be provided for.
