A Practicum to Weave a (Willow) Casket

During the week of April 17–21, Sophia Campbell-Shaw will be weaving a willow casket in the gallery on the first floor of Northwestern’s Kresge Hall. Come by throughout the week and watch the progression of the casket!
If you would like to weave with Campbell-Shaw, we have several sessions available throughout the week. These sessions are one-hour long and open for up to three people at a time. Campbell-Shaw will teach you how to weave during your session, so no previous weaving experience is necessary. These sessions are free and open to the public.
