Collage Reflections Workshop

Opening Friday, March 17th, from 6PM - 7:30PM
This workshop explores how the practice of visual reflection through collage can be an outlet to process the everyday. As you move through your day or week observe the materials you come into contact with; a paper receipt, recently delivered package wrappings, or your morning tea bag. Collect these materials to use for your visual journal collage. How do these materials relate to your mood, feelings or experiences of that day? Does trimming, gluing or coloring over these materials while making your collage shift anything in you? Participants will be encouraged to use supplies from Awakenings art closet in addition to their found materials during the in-person workshop.
