The extremes of seasons, especially winter in the Midwest, influence colors and aesthetics. Polish-born and Chicago-bred artist Jablonski creates tactile, approachable wall pieces inspired by tapestries common to Eastern European homes.

This series shows creativity as approachable, not precious, by mixing and matching everyday materials in new ways.
