Agitator Artist Collective presents a group exhibition of Chicago artists featuring their figurative paintings, ceramics, drawings, and relief prints of the human figure in conflict, under strain, expressively contorted and distorted.
Each artist creates and elaborates their own visual language to address personal and inner conflict through mythic symbols, wry humor, or expressive mark making.
Straying and exploring outside the prescribed boundaries of decorum and good taste, these artists’ out-of-bounds artwork offers a rewarding jolt to viewers who spend time with them.
