Trapdoor Studio presents Tatiana Sky’s solo exhibition, The Earth is Moving but I Can’t Feel the Ground. This constellation of objects creates an uncanny and whimsical garden space. Within this garden there are remnants of a once enchanted place and the refuse of a person recently departed. The work examines the commercial productions of ‘nature’ through the use of manufactured ‘natural’ materials, such as decorative stone and commercially processed seashells. Here, fountains sputter with water that may be transformed by toxic waste or cast under a spell.
