The O’Connor Gallery is pleased to present Anxious Heaven, a solo exhibition of new abstract paintings by Kim Piotrowski. Through urgent mark-making and a bold use of color, the artist examines notions of mortality, hope and wonder. Acknowledging the collective angst experienced in response to our current moment—between the pandemic, political issues and environmental crisis—Piotrowski contemplates what waits to receive us as she comes to terms with accepting the unknown.
