Join us for dance and music performed along the “Poetic Painting” murals that adorn the concrete benches at Loyola Park Beach. With live percussion by Tom Benko, dancers Kait Dessoffy, JulieAnn Graham, Laura Tennal, and Chartamia Turner will engage spectators and passers-by with pop-up performances that highlight the colorful murals through creative use of space.
Where is the event?
Look for us by the mural benches at the south end of Loyola Park – close to Pratt Blvd, the lighthouse pier, and the tennis courts.
Presented in collaboration with The Chicago Park District’s Night Out In the Parks program and with support from The Awesome Foundation.
