Design benefits from a diversity of backgrounds and worldviews. Through its Foundation sequence, IIT Institute of Design (ID) prepares students from varying professional backgrounds —from engineers to economists, anthropologists to theologists. In this Zoom conversation, ID alumni discuss how they transitioned into design from previous areas and what doing so has meant for their lives and careers.
