Big Dipper Lunch and Learn III: Crafting an Impactful Artist’s Statement with Waringa Hunja
@ Big Dipper Projects
online
Opening Friday, July 16th, from 2:15PM - 3PM
Join the third of Big Dipper Projects’ monthly 2021 Lunch and Learn Series.
As creatives prepare for the upcoming season and academic cycle, having solid components ready for grant proposals, website refreshes, and various other uses for an artist statement, take 45 minutes with your peers to reflect on, work through, and shift your mindset on this often daunting task.
Writer and graphic designer Waringa Hunja leads this lunchtime writing circle where we will move to a reflective, even inspired state about telling our own stories in this particular “one page” or “one paragraph” iteration.
Waringa Hunja is an experienced editor specializing in young adult and literary fiction. She has worked with first graders, college students, and professional authors and offers editorial assessment, developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading services. She also offers professional graphic design and branding support to creatives. Waringa met Deirdre while working on a project for Snow City Arts and recently helped her refresh Big Dipper Projects.
