From books, tools, and dishes to heirlooms, photographs, and toys, our things tell our stories. In this virtual workshop, artist Jorge Lucero invites you to share your story via the things you own. Participants should prepare and come with an object that they are willing to share with the group.
We will be creating a worldwide, zoom-based, cabinet of curiosities featuring your things and their stories. Participants will be able to (virtually) wander through this cabinet, seeing and hearing all the contributions. The entire project will be archived for perpetual examination. We are making a museum of us. No art skills or knowledge required for participation—everyone is welcome.
