Good Trash: a Curation of Fine Refuse, a solo exhibition by Charity Gianforte, explores the importance of connection. When Gianforte creates art, she endeavors to find connection with those around her, and in this exhibition, she highlights the many opportunities for connection to our neighbors. We can lament with losses, learn with humility, and find life in the ordinary or discarded. Just as this collection demonstrates the old adage, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”, so too one friend’s sorrow shared can be the source of another friend’s healing.
