An exciting presentation of a unique novel, with the participation of two of the most stimulating authors of our time, about the tales of the land of Ukraine, where centuries of mixed generations evolved into a new reality of independence and the search for identity. There has never been such a novel in Ukrainian literature. The presentation will be in Ukrainian.
Vasyl Makhno, poet, novelist, essayist, translator, literary critic, author of twelve collections of poetry. His works have been translated into many languages. He is a member of PEN Club, and recipient of many literary awards. He was born in Ternopil Oblast in Ukraine.
Yohanan Petrovsky-Shtern, historian, literary critic, philologist, essayist, translator, artist. Dr. Petrovsky-Shtern is professor of Jewish History at Northwestern University, a corresponding member of the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute, honorary doctor of National University âKyiv-Mohyla Academyâ. He was born in Kyiv.
