Co-hosted by Chicago House trustees Nabeela Rasheed and Kelly Saulsberry and guided by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Isabel Wilkerson’s Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, our winter virtual conversation series and book club starts Thursday, January 14th.
Tune in each Thursday on Zoom or Facebook Live through February 18th for conversations exploring race, caste systems, and the repercussions of a society organized by artificial distinctions of what makes someone less than.
We’ll be joined by some incredible guests, including Tracy Baim, Zakiya Johnson Lord, Imani Rupert-Gordon, and more to be announced. This discussion series is part of the City of Chicago’s Together We Heal initiative.
