National Public Housing Museum invites you to join us for intimate online storytelling circles on November 10th from 7-8 PM. Kicking off with stories by Dr. Barbara Ransby and Dorothy Burge.

All are welcome to join us on Facebook Live, with a special invitation to those who identify as Black or African-American women to join us on Zoom. Register on Eventbrite to recieve the zoom link!

Stories from special guests Dr. Barbara Ransby and Dorothy Burge will be followed by interactive storytelling circles.

Dr. Barbara Ransby is a historian, writer, and longtime political activist. Ransby has published dozens of articles and essays in popular and scholarly venues.
Dorothy Burge is a fabric and multimedia artist and community activist who is inspired by history and current issues of social justice. She is a self-taught quilter who began creating fiber art in the 1990s after the birth of her daughter, Maya.

NPHM hosts this event as part of a unique collaboration with Stage Left Theatre and the online production of The Project(s); written by P.J. Paparelli and Joshua Jaeger and directed by Christian Helem – a riveting production about life in public housing.

We invite you to join our storytelling circle as part of a post-show or pre-show event to enhance your experience of the production. Attend one of the productions of The Project(s) on the following dates:
