This Know Your Rights is free and designed for people of color of all ages to help us best survive encounters with law enforcement in situations where the law does not exist for us or is unequally applied against our favor.
The format is catered to the youth and their parents since the youth are particularly vulnerable to unlawful arrest.
Randy Rider of the Keepin’ It Real Law Project will be present. Randy did 11.5 years for a crime he did not commit and wishes to help our communities avoid similar injustices.

CONOCE TUS DERECHOS: UNA PLÁTICA CON EL PROYECTO KEEPIN’ IT REAL
Este taller de Conoce tus Derechos es gratuito y está diseñado para personas de color de todas las edades para ayudarnos a sobrevivir los encuentros con las fuerzas del orden público en situaciones en las que la ley no existe para nosotrxs o se aplica de una manera con desigualdad en contra de nuestro favor.
El formato está dirigido a los jóvenes y sus familias, ya que los jóvenes son particularmente vulnerables a arrestos ilegales.
Randy Ryder, del Proyecto Legal Keepin’ It Real, estará presente. Randy hizo 11.5 años por un crimen que no cometió y desea ayudar a nuestras comunidades a evitar injusticias similares.
