Bert Green Fine Art is pleased to present our fourth solo show by Chicago-based painter and neon artist Morgan Sims.
In his recent series of paintings, Morgan Sims fuses his previously separate practices of neon and painting into a single approach,
combining both media. These works explore randomness, color, and light, and seek to decouple the traditional impulse to orient
the works, allowing the paintings to be displayed at any angle or direction. The resulting effect is one of shifting impressions,
indeterminate effects, and alternating interpretations.
