Zolla/Lieberman Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Subjective | Objective, a solo exhibition by René Romero Schuler. This will be René’s third exhibition at ZLG exhibiting original oil paintings in the main gallery.
“The stories continue to pour through me onto each canvas. I’ve got my own things to work through, which I do every day that I am creating. This message, though, is something that I genuinely feel we all need to believe: We are beautiful.” said René.
Subjective | Objective will continue René’s search to embody the spirit through artwork. The figures René captures are equal parts self-portraiture and portraits of the range of human emotions. The result of her finished work is personal yet universal, and essentially intimate. The visually and emotionally affecting work reveals René’s appreciation for the struggle and triumph of the human condition. Share a night surrounded by inspiring artwork, incredible minds, and creative discussion.
