ANNA GURTON-WACHTER is a writer, editor and archivist. Her first full length book, Utopia Pipe Dream Memory, is newly out from Ugly Duckling Presse. Other recent work has appeared in The Poetry Society of America, Peach Magazine, and the Poetry Project website. JORDAN “DXTR SPITS” HOLMES is a nerd by day and artist and entrepreneur by night. Holmes has a background in Materials Science Engineering from Virginia Tech but is a self taught writer of music and spoken word performed as his alter ego, Dxtr Spits. He founded ONLi Packs in 2017, a backpack and apparel brand that uses print designs from local artists. Holmes lives by the motto” Live your life like an experiment, you cannot control what happens, but you can control the product you become.”
KIMBERLY LYONS most recent book of poetry is Capella (Oread Press, 2018). A book of poems, Approximately Near, is available at the Metembesen.org site. Current poems are in The Doris, Unarmed and Middlelost (which is online) and in the anthology Quo Anima: Spirituality in Contemporary Womenâs Poetry. She has an essay in the 2019 Message Ahead: Poets Respond to the Poems of Jonas Mekas and essays on Robert Kellyâs poetry and Mina Loyâs prose forthcoming in A City Full of Voices and an anthology edited by Laynie Browne. She lives in Chicago where she publishes Lunar Chandelier Press.
KENYATTA ROGERS is a Cave Canem Fellow and has been awarded multiple scholarships from the Breadloaf Writers’ Conference. He has also been nominated multiple times for both Pushcart and Best of the Net prizes. His work has been previously published in or is forthcoming from Jubilat, Vinyl, Bat City Review, The Volta, PANK, MAKE Magazine, among others. He is a co-host of the Sunday Reading Series with Simone Muench, an Associate Editor with RHINO Poetry and currently serves on the Creative Writing Faculty at the Chicago High School for the Arts.
Red Rover Series is curated by Laaura Goldstein and Jennifer Karmin. Each event is designed as a reading experiment with participation by local, national, and international writers, artists, and performers. Founded in 2005, the over one hundred events have featured a diversity of renowned creative minds.
