Join us on Saturday, February 15th from 10am-6pm for a day of demos and celebration! To coincide with the College Art Association Conference, Chicago Printmakers Collaborative is hosting this one day event with Beauvais Lyons and Steve Prince. Check out the schedule below:

10am-12pm | Demonstration by Beauvais Lyons, “A Color Scheme for Circus Lithographs” — Use of plate lithography to create a three-color print. Lyons will present some of his recent prints from an imaginary circus, and will discuss the democratic and commercial history of color lithography.

12-2pm | Demonstration by Steve Prince, “Art + Faith” — An innovative watercolor monoprint method in combination with relief printmaking. Prince will show his thematic prints that operate as tools to engage both sacred and secular communities, to spur both to action. The event photo is a detail from Steve Prince’s woodcut “Jazz Song”.

2-6pm | Closing Party for the 30th Annual International Small Print Show featuring over 350 prints by 75 artists!

*Transportation: From the CAA Conference at the Chicago Hilton, take the CTA Brown Line from Harold Washington Station to Western Ave (50 minute travel time)
