Chicago Philharmonic Presents: In The Realm Of Senses

Come and experience ITROS’s unique duo version of Mussorgsky’s enigmatic “Pictures At An Exhibition” for eight instruments arranged by Jeff Yang/Ravel, paired to unique visual art, projections, gastronomic creations, and scents. Also on the program is Ravel’s beautiful sonata for violin and cello, dedicated to his teacher, Claude Debussy. Both works were finished by Ravel in the year 1922 and it gives you a unique insight into Ravel’s mind in that time.

Two gastromic creations will be created based on two movements of the music by Chocolat Uzma (chocolate truffle with Kashmiri chili and Saigon cinnamon), and by Fancy Plants Cafe (vegan violet-cashew cheesecake with raspberry crumble) in addition to a scent sculpture by master perfumer Christophe Laudamiel, animated lithographs by Galina Shevchenko, and art installation by Maja Bosen, all created uniquely for this project.

Tickets: $25 adults, $22.50 seniors, $10 students
Brunch buffet: $25 available at the venue
