Join the SSCAC for a rich journey through the history of Bronzeville with a panel of local experts to learn about the rich cultural history of one of the Southside’s richest community -Bronzeville.

Join Myiti Sengstacke, Defender Charities Inc., Essence McDowell, Co-Author, of “Lifting As They Climb” a biography of historical women of the South Side of Chicago; Sherry Williams, Bronzeville Historical Society for a robust discussion about Bronzeville’s beginning, its peak as an entertainment and cultural mecca to the vibrant community it is today.
