Jan 8th 2020

Pour One Out will return to Volumes Bookcafe on Wednesday January 8th at 7pm. The theme: The death before rebirth.

What’s the death before rebirth? This is about that existential crisis that most of us will confront at some point in our lives. It’s about that struggle to forgo the past, the need to rebuild, and the quest to start anew. Sometimes it means we have to die first before we can be reborn, metaphorically speaking.

Eight storytellers will share what ‘s that pivotal experience that defines their metaphorical death before their rebirth. We have a great lineup that includes:

Brad Brubaker
Martin Davis
Shelley A. Davis
Rogelia Lily Ibarra
Tanuja Jagernauth
Eunji Kim
Matthew Lipman
Ying Maneein

You don’t want to miss these tellers. Some are new while others are returning tellers. They all have a story to share about the death before rebirth. You don’t want to miss this show!
