Critical Inquiry and the Pearl Andelson Sherry Memorial Series are thrilled to announce three lectures by celebrated poet and classicist, Anne Carson. Carson will be joined by Robert Currie and choreographer, Jonah Bokaer.
This lecture, titled “Corners,” will take place at Kent 107 at The University of Chicago from 6â8pm. Books will be available for sale by Seminary Co-op.
Anne Carson is a Canadian poet, essayist, translator, and scholar. She has been honored with the Lannan Award for Poetry and a MacArthur Genius fellowship. She is the author of, most recently, Float (2016) and translator of Euripides’s Bakkhai (2017).
