Join us for a three-day (Nov. 14, 15, 16) “elemental” programming exploring our #political, #natural, #social environments and their implications over our community, curated by Chicago Mobile Makers, programmed by Wisdom Baty.
Day One: ICE – Exploring political environments and their implications on justice for immigrant and refugee communities.
We invite you to join us in conversation to explore the ideas surrounding our current political environment and how it’s not working for #immigrant and #refugee communities.
We will provide dinner, a Healing Ceremony, and a Silent Auction.
About Chicago Mobile Makers:
Chicago Mobile Makers creates programming that encourages Chicago youth to become advocates and change makers in their own communities through design focused skill-building workshops. Our objectives are threefold:
1. Engage and empower youth through making and skill building
2. Train and support future public interest architects, designers and makers
3. Advocate for social, economic, gender and racial diversity in the architecture and broader design fields
