4th Annual Celebration of Girl Leaders

In our endeavour to nurture and build Girl Leaders from underserved communities in India through our Girl Icon program, and to celebrate their efforts as grassroots leaders, Milaan Foundation is hosting the 4th Annual Celebration of Girl Leaders event on 2nd November 2019 at Elmhurst Art Museum.
We are also excited because, for the first time, we will be organising a photo exhibition on the Girl Icons at the event in collaboration with Christy Schmid, a Photographer based in Chicago!
If there is a chance you will be in Chicago around that time, we would love for you to attend the event. Please help us spread the word around!
We at Milaan, envision an inclusive and equal world, where every girl has the knowledge, skills, and social environment to pursue her dreams and explore her full potential. We empower adolescent girls with education, skills and confidence to take action to fight for a gender-equal world, where they are respected, where they have equal access to opportunities, and are free from violence and discrimination.
