― Audre Lorde, Sister Outsider: Essays and Speeches
Folks of color, how do you manifest joy? How do you manifest survival?
In this writer circle for POC inspired by June Jordan, Audre Lorde, Toni Morrison, Julia Cameron, and other guides who teach us how to resist systemic oppression by taking up the pen, we will explore the above questions with writing exercises and have the option to share our work in a supportive environment.
This circle is free and open to all ages and experience levels.
Free Street Theater is wheelchair accessible.
