Exhibition closes Sunday May 12th.

Danielle Rosen is an interdisciplinary artist who has been living and working nomadically on farms, farm sanctuaries, and artist residencies around the world. Exhibiting nationally and internationally, she operates from the position that questions of animality are not binary but rather a tangle of ecologies and richly complicated identities, framed by culture. Rosen views these queer ecologies as a mechanism to imagine flourishing beyond normative categories and taxonomies in order to recognize kinship through an embrace of multiplicity, physicality, and mutation(s).

James Murray is an artist and music producer living in Chicago. His work focuses primarily on queer culture and history through an interdisciplinary practice. Often exploring queer semiotics, specifically the evolution of coded languages for communication; theories of queer space, geography, and time; reinterpretations of seminal queer literature; and ideologies of emancipation in both dance music and queer BDSM culture through endurance-based performance video.

Andrew Bearnot is a self-described materialist: he thinks with and through the substance of things. Informed by a background in materials science, Bearnot works in a wide array of materials including glass and hair to explore moments of alchemical transformation in the everyday. Bearnot centralizes practices of close looking which reveal uncertainty and create queer phenomenological effects.
