This year’s Femfest Film/Video screening will take part in two separate programs that highlight local makers who have been historically left out of creative spaces, on screen, and behind the camera. Works to be shown highlight queer, non-binary, trans, and female identifying filmmakers and who reside in or have ties to Milwaukee. The first program will be held at Microlights Cinema in Riverwest during Femfest’s week-long celebration on May 29th at 7pm. The second program will continue at The Walker’s Point Center for the Art in collaboration with their Community Frames series on June 12th at 6:30 pm. (Both venues are wheelchair accessible.)
