oin the LGBTQIA+ Resource Center as we host prominent photographers Zakkiyyah Najeebah, Adam Ouahmane, and Felton Keizer as they examine questions of queerness and identity, and how it informs their photography.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Zakkiyyah Najeebah (b. 1991) is a Chicago based photographic artist , educator, and documentarian. She studied Art History and Black Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, which heavily informs her multidisciplinary practice. The aesthetic components and intersectional cultural advancements that are entirely unique to the black experience is a primary concern of hers.
Adam Ouahmane is a Chicago based fashion and beauty photographer.
Felton Kizer is a photographer, artist, and entrepreneur—with a focus on the visual— showcasing his personality through the models he shoots with.
