Amplifying the ground hum of nature’s looping signals, these three works give the viewer a kind of synesthesia, radiating colors and sounds, creating a cosmic connection between bodies, plants, and animals.

Featuring work by the following artists: Philip Rabalais, Joshua Gen Solondz, and Samir Nahas.

(tourism studies)
Joshua Gen Solondz
Shot in Tokyo, Baghdad, Amsterdam, Brussels, Golan Heights, Livingston, Baltimore, and Los Angeles over a ten year period, this project’s intent is release, not identity.

Bill Witherspoon’s Thoughts on Light and Electricity
Philip Rabalais
A portrait of a man living alone in the high desert of eastern Oregon.

Electric Fogs
Samir Nahas
After months in bed, a recovering man explores an alpine region in order to reclaim his relationship to the outside world as well as to his own body. The mountain becomes a metaphor for the self, the quest, and inner chimera the man ruminates with his own steps.
