Snow City Arts, a nonprofit organization that inspires and educates children and youth in hospitals through the arts, will be having a fundraising event, Framed in Time, in March.
Our organization offers one on one workshops with our professional teaching artists in the disciplines of visual arts, music, theater, creative writing, and film. Last year, we provided 1000 children with over 3000 arts education workshops, but there was also a total of 161,000 children in Illinois who missed school due to hospital care. Our program not only encourages artistic exploration and creative decision making for children in the hospital but it fills an educational gap.
This event, Framed in Time, aims to increase awareness about Snow City Arts and raise money for the organization’s innovative programming. The theme of the fundraising event is the 80’s and will consist of fun themed activities, art making opportunities, a raffle, drinks, music, and more.
