For the month of February the Peoria Public Library will be displaying an exhibit that delves into the topic of Mental Health. There are so many ways to look and think on a topic such as Mental Health. We all have a personal tie to it. It is often thought of in the negative spectrum, but it covers so much more than that. This show is put together…topic and all…in a collaborative effort by the members of the Emerging Artists Collective. Emotions and experiences are portrayed, flowing through the very fingertips of our every being.
What: “Piece of Mind: An Exhibit on Mental Health by the Emerging Artists Collective”
When: Feb. 6-28, Library hours are 9am-6pm
Where: Peoria Public Library Main Branch, 107 NE Monroe St, Peoria, Lower Level 1
Special Event: Reception on Feb. 16, 1-3pm (see the work, meet the artists, and eat, drink and be merry)
