—
It has been claimed that all politics are local. Many of the current national issues are also relevant to the citizens of Chicago. The upcoming change of leadership will address and stir the debate about what is best for our great city. Hot topics include street parking, citizenship and our status as a sanctuary city, women’s rights, hourly wages, LGBTQIA rights, freedom of the press, and the list goes on and on. Jackson Junge Gallery encouraged artists to convey through mixed mediums their interpretations of the important issues surrounding this election.
