In Progress: Sid Yiddish and His Candy Store Henchmen

Artist Sid Yiddish leads an ensemble of musicians playing diverse and unusual instruments through a series of improvisational tunes. Yiddish has developed a set of hand signals, visual cues, and games of chance to choreograph the music in real time and with the participation of novice audience-players alongside his invited musicians.

In Progress is a series designed to give patrons a look into the process of artists, thinkers, and curators. It is organized by Curator of Public Programs January Parkos Arnall and Assist Curator of Public Programs Christy LeMaster.
