Join us for a lively discussion around Lisa Yun Lee’s 2008 essay “Museums as ‘Dangerous Sites,’” moderated by Deputy Director of the Hyde Park Art Center, Hilesh Patel.

We invite you to read the essay and join the panelists Max Guy, Lisa Lee, Lydia Ross, Erin Toale, and Hilesh Patel for a public conversation that will dive into the discourse of how museums and other sites of informal learning can provide civic services beyond merely presenting information. All panelists seek to do this within their practices, and we hope you will share with us as well your thoughts on the reading.

A community dinner for visiting international resident Nadim Abbas (Hong Kong) will take place after.
