In lieu of a closing reception, the Juneteenth curated art show will have an artist talk with Octavia Reese, JK Chukwu, Sierra Faye, and Brittney Frantece. We will discuss the complexities of Juneteenth and the paradox of being considered “Free” today as Black folks, as well as throughout time. We’ll talk about the process of our work and how these themes impact us as artists.
Light and limited beverage provided.
One drink/ food item minimum from the cafe.
