Learn essential steps to register copyright in your image collections. Our speakers will discuss new rules and procedures to register multiple images, including collections of unpublished work. We’ll walk you through the registration process and answer questions.
Tickets will be available at the door for $15 and are free for ASMP members and SAIC students, faculty, and staff!

Featured Speakers:
James E. Griffith has counseled clients on a wide range of commercial and intellectual property issues for the past 15 years. He is an experienced litigator, handling copyright, trademark, unfair competition, publishing, art law, entertainment, privacy, and technology matters.
Mr. Griffith has advised on copyright protection, licensing, and enforcement for large photographic collections, including the Vivian Maier catalog, and has managed complex litigation in a multitude of industries for over 15 years.
Alain Villeneuve is an international intellectual property lawyer who routinely handles patent, trademark and copyright registration, monitoring and defense. Mr. Villeneuve has represented clients before United States and global regulatory and enforcement boards. Mr. Villeneuve handled large volume database registration for VHT Inc.’s image catalogues and is one of the foremost knowledgeable lawyers on the subject. He served as prosecution counsel in VHT, Inc. vs. Zillow Group.
