The Future of Public Space — Chicago
@ The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Leroy Neiman Center
37 S Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60603
Opening Tuesday, June 26th, from 7PM - 9PM
To celebrate the release of The Future of Public Space—the latest volume of SOM Thinkers—we’re hosting a summer discussion series with the urban affairs magazine and nonprofit organization Next City.
For our Chicago event, Joy Bailey Bryant (Lord Cultural Resources), Maurice Cox (City of Detroit), Martin Felsen (UrbanLab), and Angela Mason (Chicago Botanic Garden) will join us for a conversation on what’s in store for the future of public space. Jonathan Solomon (School of the Art Institute of Chicago) will moderate the panel and SOM Partner Douglas Voigt will make introductory comments.
This event is co-sponsored by Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects (AIADO) at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
