Cartoonist and activist Vicko Alvarez, the author of “Rosita Gets Scared” will give a talk at the Swedish American Museum. “Rosita Gets Scared” is a comic and activity book that help immigrants children talk about fear of deportation. Vicko will talk about Rosita and how comics can be used as activism and education tools for young people. Admission $5 or $10 includes a copy of “Rosita Gets Scared”.
