Come to the closing event of Sara’s Goodman’s solo exhibition where S H R I N E will perform a Post-Tech Ritual by playing tracing walking out the painful and beautiful task of trying to imagine the color that DOES NOT EXIST!
Goodman is the co-founder of S H R I N E, a Chicago-based artist collective formed with collaborator Jim Jam. S H R I N E is the celebration of obsolete and repurposed technology and promoting interaction with this technology in DIY and gallery settings.
The artist received her MFA in poetry from Columbia College, Chicago, and teaches English, Creative Writing, and New Media and Video Art at Fusion Academy High School in Evanston, IL
Curator Laura Ellsworth brings emerging Chicago artists to Ampersand Cowork in bi-monthly exhibitions. Ampersand is a new coworking and event space at 3317 West Fullerton in Logan Square.
Closing party March 16th 6:00-10:00 pm.
S H R I N E performance for TANGLA 8:00-9:00pm.
We are donating 50% of the proceeds of all sales to recovery relief in Puerto Rico.
