For our Spring Possibilities of Print event we will be partnering with our amazing neighbors at Hume for a block swap!
The Overlook will hold a book swap and Hume will be holding a clothing swap. Bring by any books/magazines/zines/printed materials that have been collecting dust and come by to swap them out for some new shared book love! Any leftover books will be donated to Open Books. https://www.open-books.org/about
Sweet treats from our neighbors, La Estrella, and 90’s throwback jams will be provided!
About Possibilities of Print:
An experimental reading and discussion— and sharing— series that aims to explore how print has left a mark or impression on you, personally and creatively. With a focus on the power and importance of printed materials— anything including but not limited to diaries, journals, news pamphlets, magazine ads, books, street signs, etc.— we want to explore how the act of distributing and discovering physically written and printed matter affects the flow of ideas and knowledge in an artist’s life, practice, and community.
