Join us for a free dinner and conversation with Ben Austen, the author of the new book, HIGH-RISERS: CABRINI-GREEN AND THE FATE OF AMERICAN PUBLIC HOUSING. Joining Austen will be Cabrini-Green activists, with the discussion moderated by Audrey Petty, author of High Rise Stories: Voices from Chicago Public Housing.

In coordination with High-Risers’ release, the National Public Housing Museum will be beginning a book club to foster further conversation in our mission, to preserve, promote, and propel housing is a human right. Austen’s High-Risers will be the first reading. For public housing residents that are interested in joining, there will be FREE COPIES of the book available at this event!
The book club will be meeting in the March with dates to be announced soon!
