Moving is expensive and time consuming. Relocation costs will be overwhelming. If you can, please consider supporting our transition by giving online now through Paypal [https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=ZHGDDGJK9C5CS]. This dramatic and welcome change comes as we celebrate our seven year anniversary. We hope you value this milestone as much as we do. Our first official exhibition at Zhou B will take place in February 2018 and feature Myanmar performance artist, Moe Satt, presented in partnership with the Hyde Park Art Center and the Asian Cultural Council.

Defibrillator Gallery [a.k.a. DFBRL8R or dfb] is an international platform for performance art founded by Executive Director, Joseph Ravens in 2010. Brave and thoughtful programming aims to provoke and stimulate discourse surrounding underrepresented voices and unique forms of time-based art. Defibrillator champions work that looks to the body in concert and conversation with time, object, space, architecture, and society. Visit the archives at DFBRL8R.org to learn more.

The Zhou B Art Center in Chicago’s historic Bridgeport neighborhood engages in cultural dialogue through innovative international art exhibitions and cosmopolitan programming, Executive Director Michael Zhou fosters a collaborative environment in museum quality facilities containing various galleries, nearly fifty resident artist studios, and a semi-permanent collection of large scale artwork by the Zhou Brothers. Groundbreaking monthly exhibitions on the second floor along with Open Studios throughout the four story building take place the Third Friday of each month.
