Please join us for our newest program, Within the Walls. A conversation between our resident artists and curators that glimpse into what’s happening within the walls at The Overlook. An experimental approach to the tired traditional artist/curator talks.
For our December Within the Walls curators, Jennifer Fagan & Ellery Royston, will be facilitating a protest blanket/banner making workshop as a part of their exhibition, Blanket Statements. Casual conversations about their curatorial practices, artistic roles in activism, blankets as objects, and creative process will be had while communal making takes place.
Please bring any fabric, materials, old blankets, scissors, crafting supplies to help! Any banners made can be donated to the Protest Banner Lending Library.
